Homes in Brigg

Brigg is a small market town on the River Ancholme, between Scunthorpe and Grimsby. Its centre has Georgian and Victorian brick buildings along Wrawby Street and the Market Place, much of it in a conservation area, and the town is known for its horse fair. Brick terraces and cottages fill the streets close to the centre.
Post-war and newer estates fill the outer areas, and new-build developments have been added on the edges of town. Wrawby, Scawby and Broughton are villages with older cottages and newer homes, and Hibaldstow is a large village to the south. Brigg's position close to the M180 makes it popular with commuters. The River Ancholme and the low-lying land of the Ancholme Valley carry flood risk, and clay soils are common.
Areas we cover include Wrawby, Scawby, Broughton, Hibaldstow.
