Brent stretches from Kilburn and Queen's Park in the south to Wembley and Kingsbury in the north. The south of the borough is dense Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many split into flats, while the north is interwar suburbia with semis and some large estates. Wembley Park has seen one of the largest new-build programmes in London around the stadium. London Clay underlies most of the borough.
